PIECES SELECTED BY THE TEAM
This season, we asked them to share their genuine favourites. The result: an authentic selection, tested and approved.
If they've won over the sales staff, there's a good chance they'll find a place in your wardrobe too.
CHOICES, UNFILTERED
Tony - Ordinary Fits Type Wide One Wash Indigo
Tony chose the Ordinary Fits Wide pants, a piece that perfectly reflects the philosophy of the Japanese brand.
The wide cut is a real highlight: it falls naturally, with controlled volume that immediately gives the silhouette presence. The denim, particularly soft and comfortable, offers a level of comfort that’s quite rare for this type of pant.
It’s also a durable piece, designed to last and develop a beautiful patina over time. Tony likes to wear it simply with Paraboot Briac shoes, a white Sunray t-shirt and the washed Ordinary Fits jacket, creating a look that is both casual and perfectly balanced.
Julien - Samurai S0555VX WWII Type Jacket 17oz
Julien set his sights on the Samurai S0555VX jacket, a must-have for Japanese denim enthusiasts.
Its 17oz denim, with an almost cardboard-like texture, immediately gives the piece strong character. The cut is sharp and slightly cropped, designed to sit just above the waistband, just like the vintage archive jackets it draws inspiration from.
It’s a strong piece with a subtle cowboy influence, while still remaining perfectly wearable for everyday use. And for Julien, Samurai remains an absolute favorite brand when it comes to Japanese denim.
Lucas - Filson Heritage Cotton Cruiser
Lucas chose the Filson Heritage Cotton Cruiser, from a brand we have carried in-store for many years and that is part of the Royalcheese DNA.
This seasonal version is lighter and closely resembles one of the brand’s iconic jackets, retaining its strong utilitarian spirit. It carries the workwear aesthetic Filson is known for, with a construction that is both robust and practical.
The rear side pockets are a real advantage for everyday use, adding both functionality and originality. Made in the UK, it’s a piece designed to last and develop a great patina over time.
Lucas likes to wear it simply with a good pair of raw denim and a shirt.
Baptiste - Red Wing 8146 Roughneck Moc Toe Briar Oil
For Baptiste, the choice was obvious: the Red Wing 8146.
This pair stands out thanks to its high-quality leather, which develops a beautiful patina over the years. The Vibram soleis another big advantage, offering excellent grip, comfort and durability.
Another essential point is that the shoe is resoleable, allowing it to be worn and maintained for many years. It’s exactly the kind of timeless pair that moves through seasons without ever going out of style.
Baptiste especially likes to wear them with Japanese denim, for an authentic and cohesive look.
Tom - Omnigod US Khaki Trousers Beige
Abdel - Universal Works Square Pocket Shirt MC Stripe
Nico chose the Anderson’s 2784 belt in black, a discreet yet particularly well-executed piece. The craftsmanship is impeccable, as always with Anderson’s. The details are precise, the leather is excellent, and the finish gives it a subtle cowboy influence without ever being over the top.
That’s exactly what makes it strong: it adds character while remaining understated and easy to wear. It’s the kind of belt that pairs with almost anything without ever feeling ostentatious.
Another great aspect is that it’s a fully unisex piece, working just as well in both men’s and women’s wardrobes.
Xavier - Red Wing 101 Postman
Xavier chose the Red Wing 101, an absolute classic.
Its rounded and well-balanced shape gives it an almost timeless feel, a shoe that moves through trends without ever losing relevance. Its greatest strength remains its versatility, as it adapts easily to many different styles.
Xavier especially likes to wear it with wide trousers, but also with shorts or culotte-style shorts, creating an interesting contrast between the robustness of the shoe and more generous silhouettes.
